Description

Apiário Margaridas is located in Lagoa, in an old pasture, which was converted into a forest of native and honey species. Nowadays, the farm is inhabited by Daisy bees who visit the diversity of flowers and honey species that populate this space. Beekeeper Carolina, passionate about these incredible beings, will take visitors on a journey to the Wonderful World of Bees!

Visitors will step into the shoes of a real beekeeper and be amazed by the bees in their busy daily lives. We start with a short briefing on safety measures and move on to discover the hives. When opening the hive, visitors will identify the different castes, discover how the hive is organized, what functions bees perform throughout their lives and who knows… you may even meet the queen!
At the end, the Daisy bees treat us to a honey tasting.

The entire experience takes place outdoors, with no bathroom or covered infrastructure in the space.
