Description

From nectar to honey there is a long journey. After the bees transform the nectar from the flowers into honey, they store it in the hive and this serves as food for the swarm. But, bees store more than what they consume. How is honey extracted? On this visit you will discover and experience the honey extraction process until it reaches the table.

At the end of the visit, we give you the opportunity to taste the different types of honey from the Azores in a blind tasting to understand the influence of flora on the flavours, colours and aromas of each honey.
